Default warrenty question (cracked radiator mount)

it all started with a squeak. for days i tryed tightening every bolt near where i though it was coming from. still did it. finally today i had enough time to take the bike apart till i found it, sadly it didnt take long. looks like the lower mount for the radiator cracked in half, probally cus of the braces for the acerbis tank pushing it in after a fall. has anyone had this happen, what did they do. would kawasaki cover this? it is still under warrenty. i might go by the dealer tomarrow to see what they say but it looks like ill have to keep the offroading low for a while. maybe i can get a whole new frame out of this.

I wouldn't tell the dealer you think its from the acerbis tank, I'm fairly confident he'll claim that because it was an aftermarket part that may have caused the problem it won't be covered by warranty. Where do you take your bike? I'm down in Oceanside and am looking for a good dealer....I stay clear of House of Motorcycles.

Do u spell "warranty" different where u come from, we spell it "warranty" here in AUS. Anyway, i think with some smooth talking your warranty should cover it. Hope it works out well for ya .

As soon as they see that the tanks is not stock, anything even close to it won't be covered. Sorry.

Post up a pic of it. If it looks like something you did, they probably won't cover it. Sounds like it would be a pretty easy fix by welding. Good luck either way.

sorry, i have ****ty spelling. as far as shops, stay way from temecula motorsports, only reason i got my bike there is it was the only shop around with it and no shop could match there price on it (the dropped it some cus the wr just came out and no one was buying the klx). they didnt even want to replace the fork seals at 400 miles, i force them to call kawasaki and they cover it thankfully. i think ill just have it welded, im just curious how much time this will take if i go to a welder. ill have to ride there, strip the bike the best i can, have him do his thing, put everything back on and hope for the best.

128 main, stock pilot, dj needle 2 seat (i think, maybe 3rd?). no slide or spring mods. if your stock, i would go with a 124, the 128 should probally be reserved to modded bikes. kind off subject, but does anyone know where the cat is on the 09s anyways, the muffler i guessing, but thats kinda far from the motor to really get to the right working temp. the head pipe would get plenty hot but would really make a lot of back pressure. asking cus i want to get rid of the thing, and i only have money for eather the head pipe or the muffler, and i know removing the cat will probally gain the most power.
