Default WARRANTY INFO..

I had to bring the KLX in to the dealer to have a fork seal replaced and they replaced the seal and the brakes as they said the fork oil got on the front brake pads. So while I was there I ask them about putting on a exhaust and jetting the carb myself. I asked if it would void my warranty and this is the answer he gave me, As long what ever you put on the bike it dose not increase the H.P. more than 20% of the overall H.P. So putting on a pipe and jetting will not give you that type of increase so your are safe with those mods. You can not do any internal motor mods as this will void your warranty. If you are thinking of doing these mods DON'T take my word for it you should ask your local Kawasaki dealer if it will void your warranty..(if you are worried about it).I would love to know what other dealer would say so next time you are in your local dealer ask the service guy and lets see what they have to say..[sm=smiley20.gif]

I wouldn't consider any of the mods posted on this site as "internal" mods. The cummulative affect is probably about 20% peak power, although possibly more than a 20% increase in the midrange.

Yes the fork seal was covered by warranty. They said it was something like scotch tape in the seal it must been from the factory like that. They replaced both seals they said no sense in only doing one, And they replaced the front brake pads because fork oil could have gotten on them and no sense taking a chance.( if you are sitting on the bike it was the left seal that was leaking)..
