Warm starts difficult??

In the '09 manual on page 47 it says, "When the engine is already warm or on hot days, close the throttle completely without using the choke ****, and then start the engine."

oh yeah, i forgot that manual says that....other bikes ive had didnt require that

Isnt the 2009 fuel injected. In this case you wouldnt need to use throttle. My SV650S was the same way

mine is the same way. warm starts, usually no big deal, I just crack the throttle and it settles into idle just fine. cold starts however are a pain in my a$$. in the mornings I would have to pull the choke out, hope it starts and then leave the choke in for 5 minutes or so or it would die as soon as I pushed the choke in.....is this a jetting issue or something more?
