If you want better brakes upgrade to a braided hose.
Furthermore the big rotor will get mashed off road in ruts, rocks, roots.
If you plan on only staying on road, then get the full setup.

You want to do what? Put the big SF rotor on a 21 front wheel? Why? The brakes grab and front end dives enough with the standard rotor on the S. With a bigger rotor your front end may be unridable off road.

I appreciate you sharing your wisdom...but I'm looking for parts & fit not advice.
THE KEY TO THE LARGER ROTOR IS MODULATION NOT "GRAB"
furthermore I HAVE frequent the woods (north NJ is all rock) on 17"s with a 320 mm rotor & giant 4 piston motomaster on the ktm SM I put together in 2004, its not as scary as you imagine....
In summary, yes fellow KLXers I am interested if anyone has bolted up the stock sf rotor to the stock s wheel & if everything fit....also if anyone is selling such items hit me up.

I have both sets of wheels the S and SF. The rotor will fit both sets, the wheel hubs are the same on both. You will just need the caliper bracket to space it out correctly. I have though about doing the same after seeing the large front rotor on my friends KTM Enduro 690 R. Going to try it off road and see if I can tell a difference or if it gets in the way.
