Nice vid, thanks for posting it up.
Are you using a GPSMAP76 or similar? How do you like it? That's what I use and it's been darn tough. After a very hard hit in Moab last year, it worked a little funky. Reloaded the (updated) firmware and its back in business.

Nice! I have a SF and love it, but...I'll admit when I see videos of S owners on a trail, I wish I had a S, too.

It's the 76CSx. I briefly had a Legend but it had issues. I got my money back, added some more and got this one. I'll use it until it dies and even then try to refurb it. I prefer buttons to touch screens. It would be nice to have a larger screen but this one will have to do.

@ol’klx-er: I love those roads, paved or not, in that part of the country. Thanks for reminding me to plan another trip out there this summer!

@Malves: Don’t let that stop you! I have an SF too but I run duo-sport tires, and sometimes outright knobbies on it. You’d be surprised how far off road it’ll go. Its really only once you are into mud or gnarly single track that the SF’s off-road handicaps become really aparent…

Nice video. I only get to ride on pavement with my S. Seeing your video really reminds of were I use to ride growing up.
