cheers for the pics, I am still trying to work out how to put lots of pics in one thread...? duh! anyhow I notices with your three standard tach cables you have only used the black and the black yellow. black yellow is the negative and the black in the positive for the vapor.....the brown in just capped off.....?

many thanks again.

man I tell ya, these things just seem to get me all twisted up....so I got the tach working to as near as possible and I was just wondering what wheel setting size you used....? I put the default - XXX I used the method in the book - xxx it seems to be under reading...? I reset the sensor - xxxx no joy just a question..?

I dont know but I think I have a gremlin in this bike...I am not sure if you read my other thread but my CDI unit went out on me just as I got it.....since then little troubles have been foloowing me!!!

My wheel setting is for motard rims so will not be any good to you. Set the diameter, go for a ride, if you have a GPS then check the speed against that. If its wrong, change the diameter till you get it right. Even if I didnt have the motard wheels on the measurement will most likely differ depending on what tyres you have etc. The only way to get it right for your bike is to set it with your bike. Good luck.
