Cuz,

Deej raises an interesting point. I've looked at both images and the holes for the mounting bolts look like they are in different spots. Or I need new glasses..

Would stand to reason that we should be able to get a better deal direct from the mfg as they no doubt discount their prices to retailers like ATV. Pending resolution of this conumdrum I'm in.

Yes - I see the design is different. But for a lot of the crap in the catalogs they just use one stock picture for each one, but the actual product will be fit for your bike. If we can get a picture of the exact one that someone ordered from rocky mountain - we can compare it with the Utah on on the ricochet site and see if it's the same one.

Also keep signing up if you want in guys - might as well get the ball rolling in the mean time. I don't want to call the guy back till we have at least 10 guys..

The plot thickens! hahaa.. If you say it's the exact one on Utah's site - then that's good enough for me. That's a good price.

I'll call them tomorrow and tell them I have 10 guys interested, and if the price is not better than the Rocky Mountain site - then screw the GP and just get from Rocky Mountain.

I just want a skid plate!

Thanks for the welcome JRock. Yo, finger Mullet, keep it coming with the HOTD's. Life's too short to view ugly women.
I say go with the Utah plate. I was a small business owner and I like to help the little guy win one ocassionaly. (No disrespect intended) I volunteer to be the Prototype Guinea Pig if that's what it takes. I will report on my findings.

Is this a dead issue? Did we decide to go to to Rocky Mountain ATV instead?

I'd still be willing to do it - but there's not much interest. It looks like 4 guys tops - that won't be much to get a discount I don't think. It seems the RMATV ones are not the same - they do not have the folding up "wings" for the water pump and stuff..

I think the best bet now would be to just order from Utah and use their 10% off coupon code.

I tried! If we had like 10 confirmed we could probably do something..

I really don't want to wait too long though - I do a lot of woods riding and would like to get it soon.

I need the "wings" for "extra protection" and more comfort.
