Default UPS guy stopped today

Well the ups guy dropped off a few brown boxes today so it looks like I get to do a little work to the KLX250SF . I received an FMF Q-4 can with a DJ jet kit and a uni air filter. I was hope to put a p-bomb pipe on it as well but one of my kids had to make a trip to the vet, so something had to give. So tomorrow after work I'll tear it down and re-jet and add a few goodies and see it it wakes up any.

For once I feel like I got a good deal on ebay, the FMF q-4 cost me $150 off ebay from JC Motors, so I called them up and told them I was getting the pipe and asked if they could add the DJ jet kit in the order so I wouldn't have to pay shipping so that worked out pretty good.

I'll tear her down tonight and take her for a spin in the morning.

I love getting packages in the mail, especially when it's for the KLX! That reminds me of when I got this!

It was the new packing for the Muzzy. I told the guy I had 10,000 miles on the pipe and he said it didn't need repacked....I should have listened, he was right.

before re-packing I decided to polish the can...

Good choice on the Q4. Mine just arrived yesterday as well. I was happy to ditch the stock boat anchor.

I mounted mine to the stock header. You'll need the silicone or you'll have a leak.

I remember when mine was that purdy. Just this afternoon I was trying to flatten out the sticker because it's all curled up, scraped, and coming off...

Yes, I kept the stock header. Fits great. I did use hi-temp silicone as recommended by FMF. No leaks.
