jhoff, I'm the one who suggested the rube goldberg LED turn signal thing. The fix for that goofy turn signal mess is easy and would hardly require rewiring the bike. In fact as you can see in your second pic, those wires already have quick disconnects just a few inches back from that mess. What other wiring issues do you have with your bike? Do you have any pics?
I recall you mentioning that you might want to install a Vapor instrument panel or such. If that's the "rewire" you refer to, frankly I'd leave most of the OEM wiring as is and just make connectors to the Vapor wiring. I think it's cleaner that way and contributes to easier wiring diagram diagnosis later on if you or someone else has to work on it. That's what I did with mine.

Here's one thing I know about electrical wiring, which I gained from experience. Once the "Magic Smoke" escapes from the wire, you're usually screwed.
