Unable to log on at home
For the last 2 weeks I cannot get the Kawasakiforumn web page to load. It takes a long time to think about loading then says done with a blank page. I have tried the wifes laptop and get the same results. The only way to get on is at work. We run windows 7 at home and XP at work. We also have Wildblue service at the house. Has anyone run across the same problem ?

+1. This forum always seems slower to load than other forums I visit. I had this forum looking very strange a while ago ( a lot of red Xs ), cleared out the TEMP files and cookies, then all was good again.

It's DNS lookup issue.
I've had the same thing happen to me sometime in the distant past (can't remember all the details anymore) with another website.
For some reason the DNS server that you are using at home doesn't resolve the IP address for kawasakiforums.com
You might try typing our IP address directly in the address field (instead of the HTTP address).
You should also check your DNS settings in the Netwok settings and make sure that's set to what your ISP recommends. Might have to give the ISP tech support a call to get the DNS settings. Once you have that done it should work again.

If it were a DNS lookup issue you would get an error almost immediately from your browser. Try it, go to veiovnewvewhvuew.com or something similar that doesn't possibly exist.
Now if the DNS server you're talking to gives you the wrong IP address, or say one of many that are listed for the record (a kind of redundancy) but that specific one is down, you will get a timeout which is the delay before your browser either gives you an error or acts dumb and says "done".
Going to the IP address (98.158.194.243) will not work, this site is using host headers and without it seeing a request for "kawasakiforums.com" the server returns a default site that says "site unavailable". Try it and you'll see. This means most likely the server is hosting multiple websites, possibly all on the same IP.
Best bet is to try manually setting your DNS server to something other than the one your ISP provides. You can google for public DNS servers to find something close to you to test with but I bet this will resolve the issue.
