Default Ugh, this is going to get expensive

Did a real quick inspection of all my bearings today and my suspension and springs.

-Rear brake rotor is grooved and shot. Need to replace it. $215 for a new OEM one from BikeBandit.

-Both front and rear bearings are shot. Need to replace all of them.

-Swing arm bearings are shot

-Fork seals are bad. Need to replace them

-Need to replace rear spring with a stiffer spring

This should be fun. The wheel bearings are such a mess I don't even know where to start. I've never changed a bikes bearings before - wheels, swingarm, or forks.

Any suggestions on the cheapest way to go about doing all of this?

I couldn't even tell you to be honest...it couldn't be more than 7,000 miles, if that. When I bought it last May it had 5,400 miles on it.

Interesting, found this rear disc for a 2006 klx 250 d tracker. Should fit my 06 KLX 250s.

I just did my wheel bearings in both ends today. The original bearings were smooth and had plenty of clean grease in them. Kind of amazing after somewhere around 25,000 miles. Even all my original needle bearing pivot points are in great shape and freshly greased. I don't ride in mud, and perhaps that helps a lot. On bearing prices and availability, Tucker/Rocky is one of the biggest wholesalers to shops, and my Malcolm Smith Racing kit was $9.50 for the fronts and that included new seals that came with the kit. The rear kit with new seals was $19.50. I saw that the Motorcycle Superstore had similar kits from Moose that are probably the same supplier as MSR. The job itself is very easy. Don't forget that there's a circlip on one side of both hubs that needs to come out first.

Wow, bearings and rotor worn out after 7000mi? That sounds awfully poor service life.
Once you get these items replaced, make sure you keep the pressure washer away from the bearings and your right foot off the brake to help ensure greater longevity because I can't think why else you might have to be replacing them already...

Is the rotor actually worn thin, warped or just has a groove in it?

I have had to replace all the wheel bearings, steering stem bearings, and a couple of the suspension linkage bearings on my klx. But i ride in alot of nasty mud/water.

Multiple grooves, trust me there is no salvaging this rotor - it's shot.
