two brothers racing exhuast
got this off of amazon, they are on sale right now,
sounds like a helicopter landing!
I used high strength thread locker on the fasteners, and permatex ultra copper maximum temperature gasket maker around the s-pipe that fits into the header.
I also removed all the stickers and coated the muffler and pipe in ceramic coating out of a spray can.

muffler loose?
and when I throttle it, the exhaust would backfire and pop really loud, if* it was loose.
the video is kind of blurry....

revzilla/amazon
Amazon.com: Two Brothers Racing(005-1710406V) Stainless Steel M-7 Aluminum Canister Slip-On Exhaust System: Automotive
revzilla has them discounted also, I think they are closing this exhaust out, perhaps not making them anymore.
I ordered a PX1 insert, its suppose to quite the exhaust 5-7 db lower.
its loud, but sounds good.
I wear earplugs while driving because of the wind noise....

Take a close look. I can zoom in and see the bolt isn't seated again the clamp. Just trying to keep you safe.

Exhaust
For tightness after so many miles. I'll check after I put the PX1 insert in.

cross threading
do you care to post a photo of your exhaust clamp on your motorcycle? where its located? because the bolt head is flush up against the clamp on mine, it may be put further back on a wider part the exhaust.... making it appear there are more threads left to screw in, but its flush.....

the clamp being in a different location doesn't bother me.
the copper exhaust or some type is recommended in the directions, and rather than taking it off again, I went on and put some on for good measure.
all that matters is the bolt is flush, def. not cross threaded, and the muffler is not popping and cracking or backfiring, so I know its right.
if you go out and loosen the muffler clamp bolt on your header, and throttle the motor, you will know what I'm talking about..... make sure its real loose though, or you wont hear it backfire.
I never gave a step by step on putting the muffler and slip on in, its quite simple,
I'm glad you noticed the clamp is in a different location, but it really does not effect anything.
the photo you posted is the top of the bolt head, tell me how you can tell by looking at the top of the bolt its cross threaded.....
