If they complain for the 10 seconds it takes for you to be in the distance from your home, you need to get new neighbors.

Got the dreaded "X-ring". Pipe sounds unreal! Haven't put in the quiet tip yet, might not if the neighbors don't complain. Definetly makes the bike sound more like a true dirt bike.
I got the P4 and the P3 tips. I really like the sound of it with no tip but wanted to be able to quiet it down. I rode it for a few days with out any tip and it didn't seem obnoxious. I put the P4 tip in and it didn't really quiet it down like I thought it would. It changed the sound and I actually didn't care for it. And it left a smal gap. The P3 tip really quieted it down but still sounded nice. This is the tip I'll use when I need to not be too loud. The P3 is also the one that can be used with the spark arrestor.

It does Bark rather nicely without any tip!

So warren, it is quieter w/ the P3? I also ordered the P4 and found it to be a hair loud.I called TB and asked them if they still sold the quiet core insert that i had on my suzuki. Nope, they told me that they quit making it cause it restricted flow and created too much heat which in turn ate the packing too soon. I went ahead and ordered the P4. It's here, i just have'nt put it in yet.
Cracked me up to see stellar_d's comment above.... flashback several years ago. To when i told TB's support guy that my friends said my pipe was too loud to ride with me, he said i should get new friends. lol

Yes, it is much quieter. It fits right inside the spark arrestor and fits flush so there is no gap. The P4 left a gap. On the package it says the P4 quiets it to 96db and the P3 quiets it to 93db.

You swapped the DJ needle with the N1TC? I was going to do that too but heard that was bad practice, since the niddle is a pretty big part of the system and should kinda go with what its made with (the other DJ jets) Awesome though if it runs great, but i'd be curious as to what the DJ needle would be like.
