Two Brothers M7 on an Australia 2009 KLX 250S
Hi all,
With the good aussie dollar, I'm thinking of getting from the USA a Two Brothers M7 exhaust for my Aussie 2009 KLX 250S.

Can anyone confirm if this will slip on without any issues onto my bike.
Thanks!

I'm sure WestOzKLX will confirm this, but the Aussie KLX has the KLX300R header pipe, so rather get that pipe: http://www.jcmotors.com/p-8913-two-b...00r-94-08.aspx

Yep! You need the one for the KLX300R as our bikes have the slightly longer header you get on the 300R..>>>>>http://www.jcmotors.com/p-8913-two-b...00r-94-08.aspx
Muzzy cheapest at $247 and FMF Powercore at $259. >>>>>http://www.jcmotors.com/s-10-dirt-bi...agesize=999999

Muzzy and M7 are loud ?? with the insert. Mine keeps the roos at a safe distance though. Powercore 4 will be about the same as the Q4 (heard one on a local bike.)
Get a Dynojet kit (part # 2206 for KLX300R) while you're at it.

Hmm I'd still like to keep it at a semi legal level. Its a shame there are no dB levels on the two bros website about the M7
Don't need a Dynojet Kit, already have a Bill Blue TM33 carb on there :P
Cheers

It says on the FMF website "Max Sound output 96dB; most models below 93dB"
That's quite acceptable.
Did you have any problems fitting your FMF? I saw some other threads where is doesn't match up to the stock heater pipe too well?
Cheers

I must be honest, I didn't fit it myself... I got Lloyd Penn in Artarmon to do mine and he said it was a bit of a pain. You can see it in this thread: https://www.kawasakiforums.com/forum...1&postcount=22
But then again, if you take WestOzKLX's advice in post 34 of that thread (https://www.kawasakiforums.com/forum...4&postcount=34) and loosen the header pipe, it will all probably go a bit smoother with the fitting.
