I finally received my Two Brothers exhaust with P4 quiet insert today after ordering it back on June 21.

Initial impressions:
[ul][*]There were some minor scuffs on it, but no big deal[*]Overall fit and finish is excellent[*]Quiet insert causes a small gap betweentthemuffler and end capthat looks sort of crappy[*]Install was simple and painless[*]Sounds absolutely great - nice raspy snarl[*]Not too loud at all - easy on the ears but barks nicely when you open it up[*]Did not notice a big difference in power. I had the airbox lid off before the install and put it back on for the install. Wondering if the air box lid made that big a difference in the power.[*]The torque does seem improved, I found myself riding at lower rpm's than normal and it pulled fine[*]The upper end of the rev range seemed to have more snap[*]The throttle response seemed much improved[*]The driveability and smoothness seems better[*]It looks great[/ul]
Not sure if I need to mess with my carb settings to realize more gains. Am running the usual free/low cost mods.

My spark plug was showing a nice tan color with the airbox lid off and a 128 jet at sea level... Opinions on my jetting would be appreciated.

 

That sounds great, am getting my 2Brothers pipe next week.. did you get a header pipe as well? Can you post some pictures of the pipe on your bike?

 

How does the weight compare to the stock pipe?

 

I didnt weigh them but it is much lighter than stock

No, I didn't get a header pipe. I've heard that the torque is better with the stock header pipe so I'll try it this way first as I'm seriously considering a big-bore kit in Sept/Oct. I'll post a pic or two once my batteries are recharged for my digitial cam...

 

Congrats on your new TB, I just put one on mine and love it with the p4 tip.

The stock exhaust weights 8# and the TB is 4.5# I checked them out when I mounted mine.
I thought the stocker was heavier than that?
