Two brothers
Hey guys, like jb1 I recieved and installed the 2 bros today and I can say I agree 100$% on jb1's expierence. It was nice to install,it's way lighter (duh), and it is loud.I really do wonder about a trail ridesound test,i mean, this thing sounds sweet but has to hover close to a hundred db. I will be ordering the quiet core which I think claims 93db. As far as performance it waswet outsideand I just went around the block quickandI was very pleased.I'm not the kind of rider who gets the front end up much, hardly ever without the clutch, but it seemed easy to get it up with a crack and a pull. Not impressive to some but the power delivery is very noticable to a guy like me. Basically +1 on this pipe. On another note, I have come to the conclusionI need a second rear set up. one for trail rides, one for road-gravel roads.Anyone going supermoto styleandhavea rear rim laying around?

RE: Two brothers
just don't buy one for a 300 as it is not the same, it is a different wheel entirely, much wider. a kdx wheel though, as i was looking at all 3 bikes brand new last week here in DM, the kdx 200 rear wheel looks identical to the 250S'. oddly though, the swingarm welds on the 200 looked different than ours and the 300's. i'd love to corner an engineer that knows all these bikes' chassis and components and talk his ear off.

Thanks for getting me thinking about width. Was on bike bandit comparing part numbers for the hubs to see what wheels may swap over and some kdx220 hubs have same part number as 06 250s, but will start checking width also.

yeah, the hubs are the same, but the wheel on a klx 300 is much wider than ours. the kdx 200 is the same as ours though, weird huh? the 200 makes tons more power than our 250 or the 300 but has a narrower rim. what's up with that? i also read that the kdx 200 makes more power than the 220 because it has a larger carb on it. that kdx 200 is a sweet bike imo, w/or w/o the old fashioned conventional forks.
