Default Two Bros vs FMF

So... I just installed the Two Bros aluminum slip on onto my 2009 KLX250SF... and man is it loud (looks sweet though!). Even witht he P-1X tip installed it is still ratehr loud (louder than my literbike!)

So, has anyone heard these two next to eachother? I know that on sportbikes the Two Bros are some of the loudest. Is the FMF quieter than the Two Bros?

If so, anyone interested in a trade?

I run the p-4 tip in mine. Sounds better and not to loud.

FMF is perfect. Quiet for the most part but when you open up the throttle it barks. I love it.

I've got the FMF q4 with stock header, and I LOVE IT. Its like a distant helicopter at idle and wide open you can still hear yourself think. But loud enough to be heard. Mines rated at 93db and a max of 98db. I know on streetbikes the two brothers pipes are LOUD and sound awesome. I havent heard two brothers on the klx250s in person. Seen some you tube videos but that doesnt do the sound justice.

The P-1x is supposed to be alittle quieter than the P-4.

Yeah... the Two Bros pipes are just loud period. I figured that on a 250 it would be quieter than a 1000cc... but I was wrong... it was actually about the same.

Well, unless someone wants to trade the Two Bros for the FMF slip-on, I will just deal with it and buy the FMF up the road.

You are right, I have the p3 tip that went with the spark arrester. It quiets 6-8 decibels and the p4 3-5
