Default Tweaked Forks = Queer Steering

I tweaked my forks a couple of weeks ago and I thought I straightened them out, they look straight but the steering just doesn't feel right.Thewheel was straight, but the fender and handlebars were pointingleft. It seems to pull to the right sometimes and other times it just feels unstable and twitchy, almost like there are areas of resistance in the steering arc. It felt fine before I straightened out the forks. Now it doesn't. Are there any adjustments I can do to make it steer more stable? thanks, Brian

I would straighten the wheel and thenreplace the handlebar - even a very slight bend can make steering feel awkward. It is pretty hard to damage the forks so I would probably leave them alone until I had tried everything else.

I actually "fixed" a slight handlebar bend once by crashing my bike into some rocks on the other side. Of course there was a bit of luck involved though

Loosen everything up--axle, pinch bolts, tripple bolts, etc & then retighten.
