from the HiFlo website... can't tell if it's any better. Looks like the Tusk, but red.
Oil Filter: HF112

For my money and engine, I would go with the Baldwin P7132, or the WIX 24944.
Check out their websites.

Baldwin P7132

Wix 24944

Fram CH6015

K&N KN-112

Hiflo

They all look the same... except for the Kawi filter. Oh well. Not worried about it.

$30 bucks... hmm dunno about that one. I got a screen in my VW and it worked for 21 million Bugs. Got a screen in my CRF150 too. I'm sure their fine mesh works, just a PITA to clean. I think I'd rather have 10 disposable paper filters.

Some guy on ebay has it for $12... same as what I paid for 4 of these Tusks. Maybe next time. I'll wait for your review.

I get my oil filters from CarQuest since they're right up the street. Was told they're filters are made by Wix. They have the same number of pleats(44) as the stock Kawasaki filter I pulled out of the bike. CarQuest part number is 89994.

Changing the filter often is going to have a more noticible effect over what filter brand you buy.

I can change my Hiflo almost 4 times to 1 oem kawi filter... Im not about to put 6k miles on a kawi filter to balance out the gains, just a thought.
