Tusk D-Flex on KLX 250s
If any of your have a 2010/2012 KLX 250s and are using Tusk D-Flex
handguards either with or without built signal lights could you take pic of it?
I would like to see how they look/mount before I consider ordering them.
Thanks!!

I originally was just going to drill and tap the weights in the ends of the bars, but I decided they would probably look and fit better if I just ground off the 3 tack welds and blew the weights out with compressed air.

Have an idea----buy the Tusk handguards in Green and buy the replacement lights.
Tusk Handguard Replacement Turn Signal | Dirt Bike | Rocky Mountain ATV/MC
I could then use a dremel/drill to make a hole for the wires????????

I don't think you could buy the d-flex (non-turn signal) and modify them that easily... I have them on my SF at the moment and they are really profiled and contoured compared to the turn signal versions which are really much flatter. I mean you may be able too, but its hard to say, you would have to take you time and silicone them in or something and you may never get a real good look.
I have the new ones I'm going to install when I get back down state after finals... If you look at the pics you'll see what I mean. I don't have a side by side with the two d-flex versions obviously as one is on the bike already. Also they give you the little poopy mounts when you by the turn signal version... added sell value I guess... I will be using it with the regular mounts from the d-flex kit I bought originally of course.

Edit: don't forget you need a electronic relay with the LED flashers

Its my first car I bought 11 years ago and have been resto-modding since. Its a 79 indy 500 pace car mustang. I had it featured in the august 2006 issue of Modified Mustangs magazine. I'm on the next faze of restoration "fixing things I did to it when I was younger and less experienced".
305 rwhp 333rwtq fuel injected 5.0, koni sport single adjustable dampeners and coil overs all around. It no longer has the seats pictured, it now has the original Recaro's in it.
