turn signals for 09 klx 250s

I can recommend that you leave the stock ones on there. Trust me you want all the help you can get. Case in point. Look at this photo. You can really see the difference between stock and some small not so bright light. Which would you rather have? And yes that is my bike. I went from stock to small and back to stock plus small. I want to be seen. I just want to live. I choose life.

I don't know, deej. I've seen some of these LED setups with some very intense visibility. I've mainly seen these aftermarket turn signals on sportbikes and such, but surely the technology is transferrable. Most of them tuck in tightly, but if placed properly they are still quite visible. My only dual purpose bike prior to my recently acquired '06 KLX has been 4 KLR600/650's. I've ridden them in many places I probably shouldn't have, and in every case when I tried to leave the stock turn signals in place I ended up trashing them. Now I'm hoping I'm able to stay more upright more of the time with this KLX, but it seems almost inevitable to fall once in awhile if you ride off road. The stock signals aren't too bad in holding up to some falls, but eventually you know that rock or tree is gonna win.

If you get signals, make sure they're legal where you live.
I got the baja designs signals. I wanted tiny LEDs, but they aren't legal and people have been busted in PA for illegal signals. I dont know if I would, but others have, and thats enough to sway me, so I needed DOT approved. Plus, they are still fairly large. But to be honest with you, I honestly half wish I still had the stockers because of visibility. I hated the way they looked on the rear, but they are bright like Deej said. Its win lose. The baja designs aren't bad, but the stock are better. Maybe I should of kept my eye open for 09 signals, they look better.
