Turn signal replacement method?

Turn signal replacement method?
Just wondering how folks have re-wired/replaced their stock turn signals? Are there stock bullet connectors front and back that you've un-plugged/plugged into with yer new turn signals? Or, did you cut the wire at the terminal inside the stock turn signal and add new bullet connectors at the cut?
Pics and/or advice?
Thanx, Lance [&:]

RE: Turn signal replacement method?
Unfortunately the stock bullets for the turn signal are an odd-ball size. The wires on the new signals I got were also too short, so I cut the old wires in about half and then soldered them to the new signals. I then put heat shrink tubing over the splice. Butt connectors would have worked too.
