Turn signal beeper

RE: Turn signal beeper
Oh, I see. I appears this unit can pass current fairly well.
The buzzers I had in mind were piezio units and there is no way you could hook them up in series like that...they would smokecheck. Do the lights flash a bit slower after you hook the unit in?

ORIGINAL: Truckman
It will work the way i described...we hook them up the same way in the trucks. One wire from the flasher out to the one post of the beeper and the other post of the beeper to the wire that would have hooked to the flasher out....Nothing high tech.

RE: Turn signal beeper
The lights should flash at a normal speed yet.......Like i said there is no high tech here at all.....LOL...It's a Mack truck part.....C'mon.....LOL...I work on these trucks day in and day out even with the electronics and they are still very simple and i hate them.....But i am not here to talk about american truck JUNK.....they are junk.....Built everywhere but the state they were started in (PA.),,,,....Taiwanese parts are common.......Don't even get me started on how trucks are built in the good 'ol US of A......Paccar (pete and KW) are the few left building here at 100% in the usa.........with good parts from out of usa parts.

Yeah, it's hard to find anythingbuilt with100% American made parts anymore. Even then, I'd be willing to bet a lot of it is manufactured overseas.
Yeah, with my latest post on the buzzers,Ijust meant to say the the Mack (16V) unit is a lot beefier than the units I had been looking at...no way I couldhook them inline with the flasher...tofragile/delicate..."BZZZZZ" then apuff of smoke
