Trying to sell my '07 351 in Connecticut
$3,000 OBO.
07, and it's definitely been ridden. It's life was 90% woods. Cosmetically all the plastics are scratched up, lots of scratches and dings all over it, it doesn't look anywhere near showroom.. How's that for sales pitch?! hahaa
I take care of the mechanics of the bike like no other. The bike runs 100% perfect, there is nothing that it needs except a new rider. I change the fluids religiously, I always wash it after every ride, and I take good care of it. All the cosmetic stuff is just stuff you can't avoid when you do almost nothing but woods riding.
As for mods, off the top of my head:
BB 351 (put on in March 09, running flawless ever since)
Vortex ¼ turn throttle
Hand guards
Raising links (have stock links too)
Bigger pegs
Utah bash plate
EBC clutch about 1,000 miles ago
FMF Q4 full exhaust, the can has some bangs on it
RK X-ring chain and steel sprockets, should last a lonnng time
Renthal handlebars
FMF jet kit
I also have a lot of the stock parts that I took off. I got this bike bone stock with 250 miles on it from the first owner back in 07.
Here's a few pics from a few months ago, looks the same now. The bash plate, header heat shield, and rear rack have been powder-coated a matte black, that's not spraypaint.
That's it... $3k, in Connecticut, ready to go if anyone wants to check it out. My reason for sale is because I have my eye on a certain Orange machine, can't have two bikes at once so gotta see if I can sell this one first. I would like to get the $3k, I have a lot into the bike, and I will not sell it for any crazy low #'s, I would rather keep it then to give it away. I love the bike, I just want something different. If I have to keep it, it's all good.
Thanks

hahaha... Well, looking back at all your "quality" posts, I see you're nothing more than a tool bag with no good or meaningful input... So, I'll disregard your post Not to mention just by reading your posts I can tell that you're not very bright.. In fact you sound freakin ignorant in most of the things you post..
$900? hahaa.. It's funny that you can say it's a wreck and you've never even seen it or driven it - you're obviously just trying to start trouble.
Anyways, no more little kids posting in this thread, this is for big boys.

Perhaps I forgot the at the end.
My comment was that I didn't think the peanut gallery (of which I consider you a distinguished member), wasn't quite finished.
Maybe I didn't get the memo. Are you the only one allowed to post nonsense in the for sale posts?
