Default Trying a new muffler

I was able to fit a 4 inch dia x 12 inch long muffler mid pipe combo I'd taken off my XR200 with intensions to sell it thats sounds much better than the restrictive White Bros E Series w/ 6 discs that came on the bike when I bought it

It's quite a bit shorter overall than the WB combo, but maybe it'll boost top and a little bit

The mid pipe grows in size before it connects to the muffler, much like one other system I have seen online

All I had to get it in position on the bike was remove the foil gasket at the mid pipe connection to be able to fit the slightly larger inlet side of the mid pipe into the header that there. Once I get that bracket cut off you can see in pic2 behind the downtube, it'll pull it out away from the back tire a little more.

I am picking up a bunch of jets and shims that were brought in for me by a friend tomorrow and I will start playing with jetting in a few days.

Initial test ride with it using the same 125mj and the OE needle shimmed .030 I'd been using with the WB showed a promising gain in acceleration !

Wow, what a difference. This bike is like a different animal now

I don't know how other straight thru mufflers stack up against the Supertrapp style, but this system I added to replace it woke the bike right up.

Snarling growling and accelerating

Much better

- Now to try some jetting changes.
