I think that it looks like Pinky monster from Doom.

LOL...nope niether....Deej would be able to tell us in a DS adventure ride to the logging truck lands.....The company that built the trucks has since gone out of business......the hood ornament was also only on their trucks from 1970-1973 or so .....they were owned by Mack trucks.......Deej should be able to answer this fast...The company built the most brawny and most manly trucks ever known to mankind and someday i honestly hope to own or restore one.The company actually put themselves out of business due to the fact that their own trucks from the 50's and 60's and right up to 1976 are still hauling logs out of the PNW ....I guess that is a true statement if you ask me.....Big Cat and Cummins diesels and a real truck.....If anyone has ever seen a PNW logging truck with 40" round timbers coming at them you know what i'm talking about. But that hood ornament was only on trucks for 3 years...LOL.

I'm going to guess that it's off of a Hayes.

My grandfather drove a log truck occasionally back in the day, mostly Brockways and Autocars, but I remember that ornament being on a Hayes that they used to get logs from way back in to the landing. Am I right?

Man those were the good old days. You can actually see the Weyerhaeuser logo on this truck.

Man I tried to figure it out, but that was way before my day...it sort of looked like the front end of a Ford Model "T" or something soI guess I wasthinking in the right direction for timeline, but way off in terms of size...I would never of guessed. It's unique for sure.

Mustang hit it first and then Deej came thru with the pics.......Good job guys.......now who do i have to ship a case of PBR to........Hayes is the truck builder...and Mack trucks did own them from 1969-1976........I really wish that I lived out west to play with the antiques that we don't ever se around here.
