My kit had the sensor included. You need to cut one of your radiator hoses and slip the sensor in between - it is a coupler with the sensor embedded inside it.

I like the setup looks alot more like something that belongs on a bike of this decade not the 1980's setup they come with[&o].

Does the gap between the Vapor and case collect dirt?

I haven't noticed, but the Vapor will come out pretty easy if it was to collect dirt. Most everything gets blocked by the fairing.
