It's wasn't really that much of a compromise. I've ridden almost 300 miles already and I definitely made the right decision. I never thought you could be comfortable and have a funbike that handles, accelerates and stops this well. My sportbikes handled better and were faster, I'm sure a goldwing or full dress HD is more comfortable for eating up highway miles, but nothing does both this well, except maybe a Honda ST1300, but it's almost 100lbs heavier. This is the easiest bike to ride at low speeds with a passenger that I've ever owned.
If you can't tell, I highly recommend this bike. First, you might need a second mortgage on the house, get a cheap used car to drive, win the lottery, berich alreadyor like me,be married, in a small house with 2 incomes, no kids and a wife that likes riding on the back of motorcycles.
