RE: Trade in one of the klx's
Again, congrat's on the new bike. We'll let him put it on a dyno if he so chooses, but I'll say it again and forever hold my peace on the subject.
The is no way a KLX450 produces 56 rear wheel horsepower; that would place it above a CRF. Even your goofy graphs don't back that up.Have a nice day.

gearing made horsepower, but cams do. the KLX will not use the KX cams.

i never said the KLX 450 would make 56 horsepower. you said a 450 only makes 36 horse which is absurd. i only posted relevant information stating facts, facts that say a 450 MX bike makes 50 horse stock give or take .5 horse. there is no reason to believe the KLX will make less since it's engine is based on the 450 KX.
there comes a time when we have to succumb to the postition of owning the KLX 250, which is a great bike, but truly has no serious horsepower, 331 kit or not. a stock 125 will rip a big bored KLX 250. but the KLX is a great bike in other areas. it is fun with an exhaust and all the other mods including 13/45 gearing

Isn't the KLX 450 and the KLX 450F two different bikes? One is a race bike and the other is a trail bike, no comparrison. The F will eat the Trail bike everytime. But what do I know I am still a noob.
