Trade my Street Legal CRF250X for your KLX?
#11
Doesn't matter, your still nuts. The KLX can't hold a candle to the CRF in any regard. Plated or not. If your so concerned about road performance, just gear up your CRF for the road. Riding this underpowered green baby turd on the road will be much less pleasant than your CRF.
You'll absolutely hate yourself if you trade for your CRF.... if you do trade THEY should be paying YOU.................ALOT. Not only because the bike is worth more but already being plated makes it an unofficial hike in price. I'd love to have your bike, I'd trade mine in an instant.

Buzzing along in 5th gear on the slab with a CRF then finding yourself geared to tall when you do very limited off-road work is hardly appealing to me...not to mention way more frequent valve adjustment and the like. I think he has the right idea in that regard.

I gotta agree with you tremor....obviously this man knows what he's got and he got it plated.
He wants a klx he gets it .... sorry I'm an old Cool Hand Luke fan .... but seriously, I regularly ride with ktm xc's on tight trails and hang.....and I'm a phisherman not an mxer.....I think the man knows what he is doing......no shipping huh.

I don't think he does... I'll bet he's never ridden a KLX yet, that's why he's so eager to trade. He think its comparable to his CRF.
These two machines aren't even in the same league.

Everything in life is a compramise ...... but to keep Jason's xanex dosage low .... a stock klx is reallly a dog.

That's all I'm saying... we all know that, but this guy is new and doesn't give off the impression that hes aware of that fact. Nothing wrong with that... just letting the bloke know... ya know?

I'm only looking for a 2009 right now, but thanks for the offer. I know the klx might be down on performance compared to the crf, but it's what I need right now. I need to be able to do a lot of street riding and I'm also going to be using it to teach my nephew how to ride and I think the crf might be a handful for someone new to riding.
Thanks.
Thanks.
