Do you have to update the insurance company because the tools have a individual policy? My homeowners covers mine.
But, ya got me thinking it might be a good idea to be updated.

Found out the hard way I had a break in and my coverage was 50,000 for home owners and I had well over 100 grand worth so now I have the added policy and one for my wives jewelry also because she has a lot to. We pay over 1000 year just for wedding ring.

Even if you don't have a bazillion dollars worth of tools ,with an extra ins. rider to cover them, it's a good idea to have pictures, or some type of documentation, so in the case of a fire,theft, etc, you can remember and prove everything you had. I go around the house once a year or so and take picture in each room to help me remember and document things just in case something happens. Nice stuff there guys, it's always so much easier when you have the right tool.
