Did anyone's bike come with a tool kit? The dealer told me that it did not, although the owners manual seems to indicate that one comes with the bike.

yes the tool kit is in the little fender pack

 

My dealer told me the same thing...however he would order me one for a fee.
Right now I'm riding without any tools but would like to find a small aftermarket kit.

 

stock one is terrible , try cruztools they have some decent ones

 

that's crap dude! I would make a scene in the stealership - they definitely should come with toolpacks.
So what - you have an empty tool bag on your rear fender?

Go back and tell the dealer to not rip you off !!!!!!!! The bike comes with a tool kit and even tho its not the greatest you can still do basic maintaince with it. That's my 2c anyway

Yes they come with one its not the greatest but you paid for it go get it.

 

i didnt get a tool kit either... when i went back for something, the salesman gave me one... i dont think its for my bike, but its a tool kit... junkie tools though.

 

Nothing overly new to add here, but I agree that the bigger issue here is that you are dealing with a dealer that is not honest with you on this little point. To give him the benefit of the doubt, maybe he truly does not know, but someone there knows that they are doing something with all of this little tool kits coming out of boxes.

I would ask him what the two little holes in the fender just front of the rack are for.
