Too quiet around here!
I don't know about you guys but it sure is quiet around here without Deej. I hope he's up on his swimming lessons and roof repair!

RE: Too quiet around here!
Quiet hell, there's too much stuff to catch up with in the evening after work. I don't dare surf at work after some of the questionable stuff that gets posted here - might lose my cushy job as the owner of a credit card company.

Hey guys, Grrrrrrr I had this long post all ready to go and the Internet froze again. Any who, its been torture reading all of the posts on the Blackberry and not being able to post. Oh well you guys have been my ears and eyes to the outside world, and I thank you for that. We lost power, land line phones, and cell phones have been sketchy using the old analog system. Our whole town emergency system failed. Seattle news failed to keep us up to date on road closures, (thier getting an e-mail about that one.) Our local radio station was less than competent. No up dates at all. We went to the store to get some hamburger buns, and the bread isle was empty!! It was like the Day After tomorrow. Power out for 2 days, no phones, and both directions impassable. I have a few pictures of the rivers here in town, I never saw it that high or with as many trees floating down. I'll post pics soon. But as bad as I think we had it here, and trust me it wasn't that bad, the area down on I-5 near Chehalis took it the hardest. A 20 mile section is close and part of it is under 10 feet of water. That's the boat launch I ride the KLX to all the time, 1/4 mile out of town. The launch is half under water.
Driving around town with 80 mph wind and rain
Up at work, check out the trees.
Flags at work were shredded, I just got them down today. I go through two sets a year.
One street over from the house.
Whoops I guess I should have taken out the leaves, they plugged the drain.
And finally, it looks like some fencing repair is in order.
