TM36 fitment issues
So Ive got my TM36-68 pumper carb installed. I had both stock throttle cables hooked up and operating fine, but then I tried to get my Acerbis tank on and it s a definite no-go.
I even removed the push cable and still no luck. The petcock bowl of the tank is hitting the important part of the carb (the rotating throttle wheel). So what tank do y all run with your TM36-68? (kwgld1, mustang?)

I tried throwing the stock tank back on and I might need to shim the back of it even to get the stocker to fit.
What about the Clarke? Anyone running the Clarke and the TM36?

RE: TM36 fitment issues
Yeah, guess I didn't think of the grinder... I'll have to give it another look.
I've never been a fan of the Clarke tank because of the way the brass fittings are so close to the frame?
(there's some interference if I recall correctly and a lot of people are shimming the back to compensate?)
That's just crap as far as I'm concerned -the tankwas supposed to be builtspecifically for our machines.
