Nah...not really worth it. Spend the money on a big bore first and live with the stock rejetted carb.
I originally got a klx 300 jug and ran the stock carb for a while, nice improvement.....later I found a FCR 35 cheap and put it on....yes it improved performance, but mostly that twist and bang quick effect...which was real nice.
Now the fcr with the 351 is real nice.....I CAN"T wait to get permission to get my head ported...30+ hp here I come.
btw, my bike is an 06 ..... spend the money slowly .... it don't hurt as much...sayin.

I just havent researched carbs yet and came across the tm33 that I assume he built for his own 351 and decided to sell it. I dont have the first idea of what the best carb would be for a 351 let alone the jetting settings. I plan on figuring out the setup I want in october until then I am busy playing on the bike instead of working on it. Except this week is a healing week LOL A tree reached out of this single track trail and steered my bike for me. Of course it steered me into the ground. I tweaked the handle bars a little and now I realize how bad I need knee pads.

My 2 cents is that the TM33 works great with the stock bore up to 300cc's or so, but bigger than that, and a larger carb just works better.
I've never tried the FCR 35 due to the cost, but I hear they are great.

I've been very happy with Bill Blue's TM33 bored to 34.
(300cc, BG full system and no lid)
I assume that is what Bill is using on his own 351cc.
But if I go to 351 myself, I may consider a bigger carb.
mmmm There goes another 500 lazy one.
