Default tires are friggin $$$ Here!!!

Holy cow!! I just got home from a trip to my local Kawi dealership, I had to get a few things oil & filter, picked up the service manual that I ordered last year, oh yea I bought a new Dunlop 606 for the rear of my bike and I could not believe the price-----$149.99 + Tax and If I want them to Install and balance the tire it will cost $25.00 + tax more. If I get them to install it my cost will be around the $200.00 mark!! For all the Praise I here on this forum about the tire it had better be worth the cash!!

Ken

P.S remember the new bike thread I had a while back, Fingers going to love my decicion. I put my $4000.00 Down on a 2009 300XC-W Two stroke!! Now I got a good deal all I have left owing is $2600.00 yes OTD 6600.00 bikes reg price is $8400.00 before tax. I sadly will not have it in my posetion untill next january at least! ( I need to come up with the rest of the cash) My credit is maxed right now or I would have financed the rest!! Finger, I also checked and Indeed I can Plate ANY KTM here in albetra for the street-- The serial numbers classify them all as motorcycles!! WOO- HOO!!

That is in CDN dollars, I might install myself if I can get the proper tools for around the same price. That is the price at every shop in my town and we have 3 honda shops 1 yamaha shop and 2 kawi/KTM shops for a total of 6 shops all $150.00. They showed me the book and it is the CDN MSRP. just sucks thats all. if I get 5000km's out of it I will be happy!

Shipping was $23
So $128 for both at my door, and I will spoon them on.

That's probably why the prices are high people see them then order off line. I prefer to shop in my local economic area.( I support my community) the only time I order off line is if I cannot get it locally. and I am also trying to get in good there so I can try to get a job, as I am unemployed at presant. I have enough side work to make a living I just want more!! just checked ave online from CDN shop average price was $95.00+ shipping. I definately will not order from the US.

You'll be happy with the D606. What size, 120/ or 110/?
I paid AUD $100. Spooned it myself.

I also think highly of supporting my local shops. I bought a new 606 at the local shop. with tax it was $110. why pay that much again? I still go in there and buy a bunch of other stuff.

My name isnt rockafeller. . . . .

Where did you buy them? Seems like RMATV was a bit higer than $65 for the 606.
Hmmm think shipping was cheaper though, that could even it out.
