Throttle Cables

Throttle Cables
Hey everyone, so I was replacing my handlebars and had to take apart throttle assembly. (had to file nub inside the housing)
Anyway, does anyone know how to put the whole throttle assembly back together? Specifically how the throttle cable tips route?
I assume the push cable goes in the rear groove and the pull cable goes in the front groove. Also, I assume the pull cable goes under the push cable and then around the circle throttle tube and finally in it's groove.
* Pull cable opens up butterfly valve right?
Thanks guys. I don't know how much you guys can help without pictures but hopefully someone understands what I'm trying to say.

Yes, the pull cable opens the carb butterfly. You have to think and look at the throttle tube and end of handlebar from the end of the bar. The throttle tube turns counterclockwise to pull the cable that opens the butterfly...the "go" cable so-to-speak. The two ports on the throttle housing also have different thread sizes to assist you in picking the correct port for the correct cable. You have to be careful in using the term front or rear on the ports, because some route the throttle tube outlets on top of the bar and some route them on the bottom. And some of us with pumper carbs only use the pull cable. Your throttle housing's two ports should be different sizes which should direct you to which cable goes into which hole.

Thanks TNC. Yes the throttle tube has different size holes but the cables have the same size barrels. Fortunately I just needed to take a break and was able to figure it out after said break.
