Cool project EMS, just passed on a 90 Ninja 600 that would not start, found out the ignition box was $400.....Ill keep looking. Good project though always loved those Honda fours!

Just wanted to make sure ems was straight an solid when he drilled for the heli.....not at some weird angle.....just tryin to help ...... drill press is still better thou

Yea just keep the drill straight when you drill and tap the hole the new heli coil kits are good .......with the valve cover bolts just don't crank down on them and replace the rubber gromet the bolt has a stop on it and is made to compress the gromet only so far .....those aluminum heads and small bolt sizes strip out very easy just be gental And don't forget to keep on that timeing chain in that motor your manual will tell you how to adjust it ...if I remember its been about 20 years hehehehe turn the crank and hold presure on it and loosen the adjuster bolt and tap it with a wrench the tighten it back up and thats it

I dont think it was leaking out of any of the bolt holes... but ill check, You say you dont have to remove the cams to adjust the valves? Damn i gotta go get that manual from my buddy.
