You should try a Honda CBX 6 cyl I did the first one that was delivered to the dealer I did the 600 mile service the cams were in 3 pcs as I remember.....24 valves.... At least the hondas you don't have to pull the cams out like the KLX and all the older Kals all had shim under the bucket

I think I did that bike in 1980 or so......You will have fun with that Honda.....people used to strip out the valve cover bolt holes all the time those rubber seals on those need replaced as they get old they will leak big time

You have to Heli-coil one if you do strip it.I had to do quite a few Honda heads so far with the heli-coil...not my fault as they were already stripped but it was my side work repairs. It's easy to do.Just use some well placed rags to keep stuff out of the motor and your fine.

Yea it has a good zip to it, alot more that the klx... sounds sweet too... i took it for a little spin before i started taking the fairing off... Its a 1980 cb750k, 6600 miles, 600$!!! It runs and is in spected, just now i just need a new rear tire, and air filter and change the fluids and such...but shes almost ready to go... just gotta get this snow outta here.

Ive never used heli coil's, the bolt that holds the tach cable in the valve cover is stripped, and it was when i got it, so maybe ill learn with that bolt....
