Hey slippery750, dont you think you might want to tune it perfect after the pipe swap? I am guessing that the pipe might change things a little that you may want to compensate for. I sure wish that I had a bill blue big bore and pumper carb. Does this desire for more power and performance ever end? Nah!!!!!!

No because I want to feel the difference between the two pipes. If I just stick it on now and then get the pumper jetted all perfect then I will not really know if it made any difference. The weather has been very shi**y lately so I have not messed with it yet either.

I got a mega bomb on my bike along with the Q4. I don't know what it would do with just a header change because I did my carb kit, snorkel, header and muffler all in the same day. Complete night and day difference in power after the mods, I would think the header helped somewhat. Not to mention it only takes about 20 mins to install.

If nothing else it looks pretty cool, bolts up perfectly with the Q4, and it sounds awesome. Now I can keep modding everything else and not worry if the header is holding me back.

Most the pipes for the klx are too dang short IMO, someone needs to make a lowboy headpipe pipe to get some of the torque back in the midrange.
