Thanks for the good wishes guys. It is a 3700 klm trip for me, but well worth it. The weather is good and so is the riding.

Me and some friends of mine (all from Mass) went desert riding for a weekend outside of Tucson a few years ago. The most fun I ever had. Didn't have to worry about trees, snotty roots, rocks the size of engine blocks or bottomless mud holes. Just peg the gas and go. Sure it was hot, dry and dusty but still a blast. We were even buzzed by a border patrol helicopter. I'm lookin' to retire down there in a few years. That being said........I sure will miss the New England turkey runs.

Congratulations on making the right decision. Tons of great riding there, used to spend the whole month of Feb back in the glory days of paid vacations and good wages. Have a great time!!!!! Here in Seattle it's cold and wet and I just ride the bike to work once a week to keep it charged and carburating.
