Default Thanks!! and a needle question

Greetings,
I've recently joined the forums having been a lurker for a while, but since recently buying a very clean, bone stock, low mileage '09 I thought I should join up. I first wanted to say thanks to all the members who have posted so much valuable information which has helped me to not only pull the trigger on buying the bike, but saved me so much time and effort by sharing ideas for mods, farkle suggestions and their personal experiences. I have been really enjoying riding the bike the last couple months while evaluating how I want to build my bike and have been collecting parts including tires, sprockets, fuel tank, handle bars, skid plate etc. Now begins the work!
I have decided to go with the full KLX 300 exhaust as I prefer a quiet bike and already have the complete set up from my '02 300 which is currently set up as my desert bike. I have also opted for the N1TC needle and rejet for the carb. I have a question for those of you who have gone with the N1TC needle, I saw no reference in any of the different posts in regards to the needle jet. I assume everyone is just changing the needle and not the needle jet or its holder. For my '02 KLX300, Kawasaki OEM parts shows a CA part number and and a US part number for both the jet needle and the needle jet, and of course a completely different number for the 2009. Has anyone changed out both? I'm curious as if there would be any difference or how it might affect tuning and flow? I thought about pulling the one out of my 300 to compare them, but wonder if it is even worth it.
