nah, it's nothing like that. it's just that the DRZ has a 5-spd tranny and gearing it down even furtherreduces higher speeds. I just want people to be aware that even though it is geared down a bit, it will still do freeway speeds and more. but hey, at least you looked. I've got 11 watchers and one bid. maybe it will sell, who knows.

 

I guess I don't understandyour comment. Are you being sarcastic? Your post doesn't make sense to me. Are you saying I want too much for my bike? NADA average retail is $4800, mine's above average. It's like a new bike in every way still with warranty. MSRP is $6199, not $6100. You'd be hard pressed to buy a 2008 for anything under retail, maybe you could get a couple hundred off a new '08, but I doubt it. A new '07 could probably be bought for $5700, but not much more off that. Some bikes and the way I told you I buy bikes don't mesh. The DRZSM is a pretty rare bike and therefore if you want one bad enough you better buy it if it's close to your price. When I bought mine, I got lucky and a very tiny Suzuki only dealer had two 2006's left over, one black and one yellow. He quoted me the price which was lower than all other dealers had quoted me in Iowa. I wanted a 2006 over a 2007 as well because of the color scheme. So that's why I bought. Online ebay prices were around $5700 for new '07's at the time. But you know how that goes, they throw in other fees totaling $500 or so when you pick up. My price was otd with tax, title, license. My reserve is only a couple hundred under my buy it now price. Like I said, if it sells, cool. If not, that's okay too.
