For those of you that have installed this fender, did your re-use (drill holes to fit) the stock washers that are molded into the fender? Also, did your trace the stock pattern or use the measurements from the paperwork for the KX250....flipin' metric system [sm=headbang.gif].

I used the stock washers and am glad I did. My dealer came and checked it out after I installed it and said it was a good thing I used them. He said the fender always ends-up coming loose on people who opt not to.

??? the wrong way perhaps? Apparently there has been more than one person who decided he didn't need the stock washers...andregrettedit later-on.

Exactly, I remember someone not using them but I couldn't find out what happen ....so I started this thread. Stock washers it is, and that's a great metric conversion table.
