Default Tech X boots

X being the number, 8 or 10. I'm looking into the market of some new alpine star boots (I have a pair of the lower end ones and they were good but I want something better) Anyone have experience on the tech 8 or 10? the 8's look like they're a little more "armored" with the steel toe tip and heal, while the 10 looks strictly for dirt motocross riding (little protection against rocks and logs)

I like my AlpineStars Vector's - I use them mainly for the rattlesnakes!

I think mine might be the vectors, from last year (doesnt say anywhere) but they have the metal toed tip, which i really like, alot. Those boots you have are nice, but look like the same buckles as mine which i HATE.

Vector's never came with the metal plate toes so they must be something else. I like the Vector's because they are very comfortable to ride in - but we don't have a whole lot of fallen logs to deal with, just land developers!

I also have a pair of Alpinestars Tech 10's, they are a great pair of boots but I found them hard to shift with on the KLX.

Derek, they're selling it 'eh - not an easy task in the declining real estate market down here.

Yeah it sucks, my parents split up so as such splitting up all the assets. such a waste! I might buy a condo down there some time since the wife and I love it so dearly. We may get to ride yet!
