I had found a rack on eBay for sale that was going to cost close to a hundred bucks after shipping then I'd need to modify it to make it work on the 09 model, plus I'd have to buy a bag or case to mount as well..another 100 bucks.

I don't do any hardcore riding (e.g. my wheels don't leave the ground very much). I mostly do off road touring and getting back to the places that cars can't get to. Yesterday I spent 6 hours in the seat and had the chance to see 6 beautiful waterfalls, gorgeous campgrounds, and overlook vistas that were incredible. Why the heck am I saying all this? Probably b/c I ordered a grandaddy (wannabe BMW) trunk for the KLX from JC Whitney. Trunk and metal mounting rack was 81 bucks with shipping.

I got the medium sized trunk so it won't be too huge, but it's waterproof, lockable and easily removable with a key.

I have one diff brand I love it use it all the time on the street I can put A case of beer oh I mean pop in there 3-4 bags of groceries use it all the time.
