Default T-mark, which one?

Hi, trying to check valves. However after moving rotor contr-clockwise discovered that there are two marks. One is more than single line (something like few vertical and horizontal lines??) and other just simple single vertical line. Which one is T-mark ?

the T is on it's side. It is the second mark that comes around.

the jetting didn't seem too difficult, but this valve adjustment work appears to be more complicated...taking apart the top end wasn't this complicated...at 8,000 miles...should i worry about valve check/adjustments?....

any early warning signs that i may need a valve adjustment???

I would definitely check them.. Two of mine were out of spec when I checked a couple weeks ago. Had to shim them. The bike woke up a lot! Didn't notice the power decrease because it was gradual. Getting it back to where it should be was definitely noticeable though!

was checking writeup and noticed one thing - it states that valve clearance is reducing with time. In cars or other bikes valve clearances are increasing with time due to the wear of cams and valves. Why in KLX is reducing????

Very little wear on cam and lifter. Plus the valve has more of a tendency to seat further in the head thus reducing clearance.
