My buddy just plated his KX450 here in CT.

He used a "barely legal" kit to get it through inspections. Now it has nothing but the plate!

I've seen plated atv's on the street in Cheyenne Wyoming. Very cool! And hey, why not?
I have seen very small towns allow it, ussually because there are just next to a big ride area and the town gets the fuel and mini-market sales that probably add up nicely for them.


There are retirement towns that allow Golf Carts, substitute a Z400 there
but none of my examples are plated...

And hey, why not?
Heck, I'm with ya... mount a track/street up on that ATV and hit the road.. it would be a blast!!

I have witnessed guys walking down the street in Cheyenne with pistols in holsters on their hip. It's ok as long as it's not concealed.
I just rode a trail near me here in N. IL . Each town the trail passed through had marked ATV routes on some of the streets. Like you said Chris, it was to allow riders to get to the quick-e mart, gas stations and restaurants. Smart thinking.
