Swap to EFI for 2009 KLX205SF?
Howdy!
Just curious if anyone has performed an EFI swap onto a (carbed) 2009/2010 KLX250S or SF?
I saw RayCour's approach with modding his carb to take an injector: https://www.kawasakiforums.com/forum...ted-klx-33129/ But I'm curious if anyone has identified an OEM throttle body (kawasaki or otherwise) which will mate with the stock KLX intake boot? (The problem I'm running into is that while it is easy to find the bore dimension of a throttle body, finding the OD measurement online seems elusive -- I believe the KLX intake boot ID is 42mm, so that's my target).
As far as "why" (which always gets asked in such threads, ha!), for many years I have wanted to design and program my own ECU from scratch, and now I have the perfect platform / excuse to do so
Cheers!

I purchased a universal EFI fuel pump and evaluated it with a variable power supply. Looks like I only need about 5 Volts (26 Watts) to sustain 45 psi into a 0.02" flow restrictor, which roughly simulates the flow my bike will need at WOT.
