trust me, I would be a fool to try and do it myself. Like i said this is my first bike, I didnt grow up learning how to work on bikes, I will have to learn as time goes on. I came on here to seek advice from guys like you that knows what they are doing, so that when I do bring it back to the mechanic I have some ammo against him trying to say its not his fault. You're on the right forum for that. These guys, especially Deej and a couple others, will answer any dumb question you can come up with. Trust me, I've already done it.

And try YouTube, especially for the more basic for stuff, like tire changes. Everything is on the internets, somewhere.

Pfffft!!!...Scott, that guy knows nothing about bike maintenance or tire changing. Well, yeah, he was the only American rider to finish the Dakar last year, but I'm sure that was pure luck.

 

thank you sir.... I figured it out, no need to bring it back to the mech. I weigh 210, so all I needed to do was a couple clicks "in" to tighten my suspension, maybe they touched it when they were working on it, idk. But it feels a lot better now and my handling is great (see, I'm learning). I did notice the KCCO though....Chive oN bro

What did you "click" in? No way a shop changed your shock settings on a rear tire change! Are you talking about the tension adjusters for the chain, that I can believe. Usiing typical adj on the chain is too loose for the 250, use the manual procedures.

 

You're obviously a member here. The tire changing thread I linked is on Adventure Rider, another forum not related to this one.
